Mane Event

The Project

Prior to the Hyundai A-league 2019/20 season, Brisbane Roar FC decided to take a more sustainable approach with their matchday programme, Mane Event. Instead of printing thousands of copies each game, the football club sought to digitize the program. I worked with the club to make this transition, updating the design to fit the goals of the brand.

The programme was converted from an 8-page fold out brochure to a digital magazine hosted on flipsnack. This changed welcomed a number of advantages, including no paper wastage, no limit on a number of pages and the ability to include videos. For the first time, a Brisbane Roar fan is now able to access the Mane Event from his/her mobile device or computer.

The Outcome

A more streamlined approach to the matchday programme is now available for the Brisbane Roar fan. With no printing costs, this can be offered for free and to a wider audience while exposing them to more advertising.
